I this series I feature the endemic birds of Hawaii.  Many of Hawaii's native birds are threatened, critically endangered or already extinct.  Each year in September I make a fresh batch of birds for the Hawaii Island Endemic Bird Festival.  Birds can be made to order at any time and if you have a favorite species just e-mail me with a picture and I will let you know if the colors are possible.  Some colors do not hold up to the kiln temperatures.
